The 3-Day Rule
You must submit your Malaysia Digital Arrival Card within 3 days before your arrival date in Malaysia. Submissions earlier than 3 days are not accepted by the system.

Submission Guidelines
When to Submit
- Earliest: 3 days before arrival
- Recommended: 24-48 hours before
- Latest: Before boarding your flight
- Not accepted: More than 3 days early
Processing Time
- Instant: Most applications processed immediately
- Confirmation: Received via email instantly
- Delays: Possible during peak travel periods
- Resubmission: Allowed if needed
Important Reminders
Single Entry Validity
Your MDAC is valid for one entry only. If you leave Malaysia and return, you must submit a new MDAC application within the 3-day window before your return.
3-Day Expiration
Your MDAC expires 3 days after submission. If you don't travel within this period, you'll need to submit a new application.
No More Grace Period
Since January 1, 2024, the grace period for completing MDAC upon arrival has ended. You must complete it before traveling.
