How to Use the Autogate System

1

Approach the Autogate

Look for the autogate lanes marked with green lights and "Autogate" signs. Ensure you have your passport and MDAC confirmation ready.

Tip: Choose an autogate lane with the shortest queue for faster processing.
2

Scan Your Passport

Place your passport on the scanner with the photo page facing down. The machine will read your passport information and verify your eligibility.

Important: Ensure your passport is clean and the chip is not damaged.
3

Biometric Verification

Look directly at the camera for facial recognition. The system will compare your face with the photo in your passport chip.

Tip: Remove glasses and hats for better facial recognition accuracy.
4

Wait for Verification

The system will process your information and verify your MDAC status. This usually takes 10-30 seconds.

Note: Do not move away from the scanner until the process is complete.
5

Collect Passport and Proceed

Once verification is successful, the gate will open. Collect your passport and proceed through the gate to enter Malaysia.

Success: You have successfully completed immigration clearance!
